The Hello Team Minister’s primary role is to lead a team of volunteers (Hello Team) who help BattleCreek feel like a welcoming place for people. From the parking lot to the auditorium and every step in between, Hello Team volunteers help each person know BattleCreek is a place they can attend and, even better, where they can belong.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire with excellence to motivate Hello Team volunteers to build a welcoming place for all people who attend the campus
- Recruit, equip and develop volunteers to the Hello Team based on the spiritual gifts that God has placed on them
- Schedule volunteers for each service to ensure all service day needs are met
- Code for monthly expense reports for campus financial needs
- Other projects or campus needs as assigned to help all people advance in their journey with Christ
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (not required) and 2 years of experience in ministry
- Ministry experience in a multi-site environment is an added plus

Evening and weekend hours may be required—it’s all part of ministry life!
Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based but may involve some physical activity, including standing, lifting (up to 20 pounds), kneeling, setting up equipment, or prepping for events—sometimes even late at night.
