About the role

Helix is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure management, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of DevOps strategies across multiple environments.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in DevOps engineering.
  • Proven experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native services.
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and experience with network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Good knowledge of version control systems (Git).

Pay
