Responsibilities

• Operate Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Verify aircraft airworthiness before every flight.
• Ensure safety of passengers, cargo, and equipment.
• Familiarize medical flight team with aircraft and medical systems.
• Complete required documentation.
• Conduct detailed flight planning with minimal notice.
• Participate in company meetings, activities, projects, and community outreach.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Regular scheduled attendance (7/7 schedule - 12-hour shifts).
• Maintain a weight not exceeding 250 pounds and be under 70 years old.
• Pilots must have flown in category within the past 24 months.
• Must hold an Instrument rating (ATP rating in category meets this requirement).
• Fixed wing multiengine rating required for twin-engine aircraft.
• Commercial single-engine land license required for single-engine aircraft.
• First or Second Class FAA Medical certificate required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent) from two-year college or technical school, with 2-5 years’ related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with flight and EMS experience, ranging from $82,900 per year.

Schedule

Regular scheduled attendance on a 7/7 schedule with 12-hour shifts.
