Role Overview

This position involves operating aircraft in compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations, ensuring safety and efficiency during emergency medical transports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate rotorcraft safely, adhering to the Rotorcraft Flight Manual and regulations.
  • Conduct preflight inspections and report discrepancies for maintenance.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
  • Ensure all flights meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain readiness and stay current on weather updates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 2000 total flight hours, including 1500 helicopter hours and 1000 hours as pilot in command.
  • 500 turbine hours and at least 100 hours night flying unaided.
  • Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate and Instrument Rating.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including a 230-pound weight limit in flight gear.
  • Previous HAA experience preferred.
