Role Overview
This position involves operating aircraft in compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations, ensuring safety and efficiency during emergency medical transports.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate rotorcraft safely, adhering to the Rotorcraft Flight Manual and regulations.
- Conduct preflight inspections and report discrepancies for maintenance.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
- Ensure all flights meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain readiness and stay current on weather updates.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2000 total flight hours, including 1500 helicopter hours and 1000 hours as pilot in command.
- 500 turbine hours and at least 100 hours night flying unaided.
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate and Instrument Rating.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including a 230-pound weight limit in flight gear.
- Previous HAA experience preferred.
