Helicopter Mechanic

Maintain, Repair, Troubleshoot and Document

• Ensures airworthiness and compliance with FAA regulations for airframe and engine
• Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots and documents airframe and engine
• Maintains all necessary work records, maintenance forms and log books

Inspection and Component Changes

• Performs all inspections, repairs and component changes
• Achieves these tasks in accordance with manufacturers' maintenance manuals and/or FAA approved procedures

Aviation Fuel Farm Management

• Maintains the AC aviation fuel farm
• Accepts fuel per AC policy from fuel vendor and ensures fuel quality

Cleaning and Safety

• Assists in cleaning aircraft and hangar
• Informs Angel One Communications Center and supervisor in the event of unscheduled maintenance

Maintenance Planning and Coordination

• Plans and coordinates maintenance activities with the Director of Maintenance
• Works with manufacturer’s representatives, parts vendors, repair facilities and the FAA

Safety and Inventory Management

• Places safety as the top priority for aviation operations
• Assists Director of Maintenance in ordering and maintaining aircraft parts inventory and vendor tooling

Other Duties

• Performs other duties as assigned
