Hedge Fund Tax Senior Associate

Role Overview

The Senior Associate supports Tax Managers and Partners in managing client portfolios, overseeing engagement planning, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day client management and engagement administration
• Communicate progress and issues to management
• Audit and review tax provisions and working papers to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies
• Perform compliance tasks with minimal supervision
• Supervise associate staff on complex engagements when appropriate

Qualifications & Skills

• At least three years of recent experience in investment partnership and/or mutual fund tax in public accounting
• Bachelor's degree, JD, LL.M., or MST in taxation from an accredited institution
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accounting procedures, and partnership tax regulations
• Exceptional review skills for tax returns (1065, 1120-RIC)
• Excellent communication, analytical, research, and interpersonal skills
