Heavy Truck Mechanic/Technician

About the role

J. G. MacLellan Concrete Co., Inc./Granite State Concrete Co., Inc. is a 60-year-old family-owned and operated supplier of ready-mixed concrete and aggregate products to the local construction industry. They are currently seeking experienced heavy truck mechanics/technicians, greasers, and helpers for open positions at their Massachusetts and New Hampshire locations, with occasional travel to other company sites.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a fast-paced team in a maintenance environment
• Willingness to undergo training for advancement in the maintenance field
• Perform basic hand tool operations
• Possess a valid CDL license (preferred)
• Pass a DOT physical and drug test
• Be reliable and punctual
• Work 10 to 12 hours per day with guaranteed overtime

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Experience with diesel engine repair (1 year preferred)

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug test
• Reliable and punctual

Skills

• Basic hand tool operation
