Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty diesel trucks
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems and improve repair processes

Skills And Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Heavy Truck Diesel Mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and computerized testing equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards
