About the Role
Semi-Skilled positions involve the use of knives, hooks, and wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE). The work includes physical tasks such as standing at a table for eight hours or more and/or working on a moving table or chain. The environment may be cold, hot, or humid.
All candidates must be able and willing to work in hot and cold environments, use knives and hooks, and perform physical tasks including pushing, lifting, and pulling weights up to 80 lbs. Proper use of PPE for 6-8 hours per shift is required.
No prior experience is needed. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to work in hot, cold, or humid environments
- Willingness to use knives and hooks
- Capability to push, lift, and pull up to 80 lbs
- Proper use of required PPE
- Proof of authorization to work legally in the U.S.
- Pass a urinalysis screening as part of a post-offer health assessment
- Certain roles may require a background check
