Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks, front-end loaders, street sweepers, sanitation packers, and other heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Transport personnel and materials.
- Perform pothole, sidewalk, and road repairs.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections.
- Trash, yard waste, and dumpster collection.
- Snow plowing and sanding.
- Support emergency response operations as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience operating heavy trucks and equipment, preferably in construction, utility, roadway, or sanitation work.
- Experience in snow and ice operations preferred.
- Valid Massachusetts CDL, Class B.
- Valid MA Hoisting Engineer’s License.
Pay
Hourly rate: $28.86 plus generous benefits and excellent working conditions.
