Duties and responsibilities
- Uses the company’s heavy hauling equipment to drive trucks hauling loads to job sites or customers' other specified destinations.
- Prepares heavy hauling loads for delivery.
- Loads and unloads equipment, assembles and disassembles equipment as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Hydraulic Truck Coordinator
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of consistent safe driving history as a full-time driver.
- Must have obtained a Class A CDL; additional endorsements (doubles/triples) preferred.
- Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Physical and possess a valid medical certificate.
- Must be able to understand and apply established procedures.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) card.
Physical requirements
- The employee may be required to wear appropriate PPE equipment.
- The employee could occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures, fumes, or airborne particles.
- The noise level in the workplace is moderate.
- The job requires the employee to climb, stand, and lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
