Heavy Haul Driver

Duties and responsibilities

• Uses the company's heavy hauling equipment to drive trucks hauling loads to job sites or customers' other specified destinations.
• Prepares heavy hauling loads for delivery.
• Loads and unloads equipment, assembles and disassembles equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Hydraulic Truck Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of consistent safe driving history as a full-time driver.
• Must have obtained a Class A CDL; additional endorsements (doubles/triples) preferred.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Physical and possess a valid medical certificate.
• Must be able to understand and apply established procedures.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) card.

Physical requirements

• The employee may be required to wear appropriate PPE equipment.
• The employee could occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures, fumes, or airborne particles.
• The noise level in the workplace is moderate.
• The job requires the employee to climb, stand, and lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
