About the role

Sundt is seeking a CDL Off-Road Truck Driver with at least 3 years of experience; must have experience operating a Oshkosh military trucks and trailers to transport construction equipment; experience with heavy-haul operations, oversized loads, or military Oshkosh equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a variety of trucks, not limited to dump trucks, volumetric mixers, flatbed trucks and articulating haul trucks.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks.
  • Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations.
  • Cookordinate with site supervisors to meet delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and cargo manifests.
  • Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
  • Aid with loading and unloading of heavy loads as needed.
  • Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Participate in overtime shifts to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of off-road truck driving experience.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
  • Experience operating trucks with at least a 30-ton capacity.
  • Preferred experience with 50-ton articulated trucks.
  • Ability to work 60+ hours per week and overtime as required.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass drug testing.
  • Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks.
  • Reliability and punctuality in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

Pay

$30.88/hr. plus cash fringe benefit.

Schedule

Work hours are 60+; $1,246 weekly per diem to qualified candidates only.
