About the role

Join our team as a local truck driver based in Orlando, FL. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule (6am-2:30pm) with no nights or weekends, allowing you to be home daily.

Pay

Starting at $21 per hour based on experience. Pay range: $19.26 - $30.76 per hour. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm. Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, including loading and unloading using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly, and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Requirements

• Must hold a valid CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required

Qualifications

• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads
