Heavy Equipment Shop Technician

About the role

As a Shop Technician at Ditch Witch West in Newark, you will work on heavy trenching and construction equipment in the shop, ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely to support customers and maximize their uptime. You’ll collaborate with trained Technicians in a well-resourced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy construction or trenching equipment.
• Perform accurate and timely equipment repairs in the shop.
• Support customer uptime through high-quality work.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing construction or other heavy equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to provide own tools.

Pay

$33.80–$38.00 per hour, depending on experience.
