Heavy Equipment PM Mechanic

R360 Environmental Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is the nation’s leading environmental oilfield waste management provider. We are looking for a Heavy Equipment PM Mechanic to join our team. This is a day shift position with occasional weekends and year-round steady work.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment/yellow iron.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
• Use onboard computer systems to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
• Complete work orders and documentation using fleet maintenance software.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site service calls.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment.

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on mechanic experience, preferably on heavy equipment/yellow iron.
• Must have your own tools.
• Basic computer skills for diagnostics and documentation.
• Commitment to safety practices and PPE usage.

Pay

$87,000 – $102,000 per year ($24–$28+/hr., based on experience plus overtime).

Schedule

Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends. 55–60 hour weeks on day shift.
