Heavy Equipment Operator (Wood Products) | Lombard, IL
Job Duties
- Skilled operation of front-end loaders, log loaders/prentice loaders, root pruner, backyard lift/omni portable lift
- Experience with CDL preferred
- Locally import and export raw materials within a walking floor semi
- Ability to learn operations of large grinding equipment
- Perform basic daily maintenance on equipment (training provided)
- Perform basic repairs as applicable on equipment
- Provide unmatched customer service
Qualifications
- Industry experience in heavy equipment and semi driving operations desired but not required
- Should possess basic climbing as well aerial lift skills
- A valid Class A semi driver’s license with air brake endorsement is required
- Strong mechanical and welding experience is preferred
- Able to work in all inclement types of weather
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
- CDL preferred but not necessary
