Heavy Equipment Operator

E.L. Harvey & Sons, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator in Westborough, MA.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay

$30.00 per hour

About the role

We prioritize hiring safe equipment operators who care about team safety and customer service. As part of our team, you’ll operate heavy equipment while promoting workplace safety and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, scrapers, and compactors.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.
• Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Interact with customers and employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.

Requirements

• Massachusetts 2A/1C hoisting license
• 2+ years’ experience running heavy equipment
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
