Safety Officer
Winnebago Landfill is seeking a safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team in Rockford, IL. The primary responsibilities include operating various heavy equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavators, off-road dump trucks, and others as required. Key duties also involve routine inspections and maintenance of the equipment, including checking oil, water, and tires.
Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment including bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavators, off-road dump trucks, and others as needed.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment, including checking oil, water, and tires.
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
