About the role
Heritage Fence Company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join their experienced team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of heavy equipment operation experience, including excavators, dozers, and loaders.
Responsibilities
- Prepping and loading trucks with materials and tools for daily jobs.
- Checking trucks to ensure all tools and trailers are properly secured.
- Safely demolishing buildings, concrete, asphalt, and other structures.
- Excavating holes, trenches, and performing mass earthmoving tasks.
- Grading slabs, stone, and landscaping areas.
- Removing existing fences.
- Operating small hand tools and large machinery safely.
- Installing fences under the guidance of foremen and crew members.
- Conducting daily clean-up of job sites and yards.
- Maintaining weekly logs for company vehicles.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating excavators, dozers, and loaders.
- Ability to lift 80 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to/from the office.
- US Citizenship or valid working visa.
- Valid driver's license for driving company vehicles.
- Ability to pass new hire and random drug tests.
- Full-time availability from Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with potential weekend overtime.
