Heavy Equipment Mechanic - USA

About the role

Mader offers the opportunity to work on mining equipment across 45 states in the U.S., providing a unique and exciting environment for experienced heavy equipment mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Work on mining equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Sandvik, Epiroc, and others.
• Perform rebuilds, overhauls, and major maintenance tasks.
• Welding experience is preferred but not required.
• Direct mine site experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with CAT SIS & ET is beneficial.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment.
• Willingness to travel and be responsible for booking and paying for flights and accommodations.

Qualifications

• Experience with rebuilding, overhauling, and major wrench-turning work.

• Strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
