Heavy Equipment Maintenance Lead

About the role

Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment across various sites. Ensures all machinery is in optimal working condition to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues
• Train and mentor less experienced staff members
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with other departments to address operational needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
