Heavy Equipment Journeyman Field Technician

Ditch Witch West in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Journeyman Field Technician to service heavy trenching and construction equipment at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment in the field.
• Travel to customer sites in a fully equipped service vehicle.
• Perform high-quality repairs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Interact with customers and provide reliable service.
• Handle challenging repair jobs with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred).
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Pay

$34.48–$48 per hour, depending on experience.
