Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic -- Twin Falls

About the role

Knife River is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Boise division. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, travel as needed, and handle work in various weather conditions. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience working with all phases of construction equipment, with heavy paving equipment experience being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair components of construction equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members and document work performed
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records
• Work in a variety of weather conditions and travel as needed

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years minimum working with all phases of construction equipment
• Heavy paving equipment experience is a plus
• Must be able to diagnose component, troubleshoot, repair, communicate and document
• Certifications and/or technical school experience is preferred

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
