Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and computerized systems.
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and electrical concerns.
• Perform quality repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify problems.
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Work as part of a team to keep customer vehicles operating safely and reliably.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of heavy-duty truck or related automotive repair experience.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and safety‑minded.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Preferred — but not required: CDL and ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications.
• Additional manufacturer or industry‑specific training.
• Experience with diesel engines, heavy‑duty electrical systems, and advanced diagnostics.

Pay

$30.00‑$50.00 per flat‑rate hour, based on experience, skill level, and qualifications.
