Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer SVC Tech

Job Summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team at multiple locations. This role involves performing essential maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and completing associated paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks and document work performed
• Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers
• Perform PM inspections, brake jobs, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacements, wheel seal replacements, and wheel end adjustments
• Examine all system parts for damage, wear, and safety issues
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation
• Fill out work order forms accurately, ensuring all necessary parts are included
• Follow safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience
• Valid Class C Driver's License
• Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required within 6 months of hire
