What you’ll do
Technicians at VVG are responsible for diagnosing truck problems and performing repairs. This includes creating repair plans, filling out parts requisitions, tagging all warranty parts replaced, and turning in parts with core value. Technicians must communicate updates to their Foreman daily and maintain organized toolboxes and clean, safe workstations.
Responsibilities & Skills Assessment
- D-Level Technician: Basic chassis repairs; basic engine repairs; chassis Remove & Install; preventative and/or maintenance; internal/factory warranty processes
- C-Level Technician: Basic diagnostic skills; comfort with major vendor/factory; most chassis repairs; engine accessory repairs; complete engine Remove & Install
- B-Level Technician: Advanced diagnostics skills; complete engine repairs; complex chassis repairs; knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs; HVAC
- A-Level Technician: Proficient on all vehicle component repairs; diagnose all vehicle component failures; competent in root cause failure analysis, vibration analysis, aftertreatment repairs and diagnostics

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must pass post-offer drug test and physical
Compensation
$24.50–$44.50 per hour, depending on experience level and certifications, plus production bonus
