Heavy Duty Diesel Shop Manager

About the role

The Heavy Duty Diesel Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a diesel repair facility. This position requires strong leadership skills, experience in heavy duty vehicle maintenance, and knowledge of diesel engine technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
• Manage a team of technicians to meet customer expectations and company standards
• Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and policies
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues and improve service quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy duty vehicle maintenance and repair
• Proven leadership and management experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of diesel engine technology and repair processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

$80,000 - $90,000 annually
