Heavy Duty Cleaner-Full-Time(Bettendorf)

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional appearance and demeanor throughout shift
• Follows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediately
• Completes all assigned deep cleaning projects that preserve the overall appearance and maintenance of the property
• Operates heavy duty equipment including but not limited to, carpet extractors, pressure washers, and auto scrubbers
• Cleans all slot machines, in between machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, and offices, public areas, windows, restaurants, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the casino, office, or common areas
• Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur
• Clean any biohazardous materials when it occurs
• Remove trash from the trash container and place it into dumpsters
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior professional cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
• Able to ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
• Able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Able to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
