About the role

InPwr, Inc. is seeking experienced Heavy Commercial and Heavy Industrial Journeyman Electricians to join our dynamic team. We are an award-winning electrical design-build firm with offices in multiple locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design and construct electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects
  • Adapt to various working environments and industries including wastewater, paper mills, refineries, oil mills, and processing plants
  • Travel nationally to support project needs
  • Ensure compliance with the National Electric Code and electrical theory
  • Read and interpret project drawings and submittals
  • Solve problems and think critically
  • Work in a variety of physical conditions, including extreme temperatures and hazardous environments

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Current knowledge of the National Electric Code and electrical theory
  • Commercial/industrial experience
  • Ability to adapt to various working environments
  • Proficient skills in reading project drawings and submittals
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in industries such as wastewater, paper mills, refineries, oil mills, and processing plants
  • Willingness to travel nationally and adhere to a 17/4 travel schedule

Qualifications

  • Completion of a background check
  • Minimum of five years in the electrical industry
  • Preferred degree from a 4-year trade school
  • Current knowledge of electrical theory and the National Electric Code
  • Experience in design/build electrical construction
  • Ability to work in various physical conditions and environments
  • Proficiency in reading project drawings and submittals
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in industries such as wastewater, paper mills, refineries, oil mills, and processing plants
