About the role
Top Heavy Civil Construction firm seeking a Project Manager to join their Rocky Mountain Division.
Pay
$120,000 – $175,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Lead heavy civil projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, DOTs, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Oversee field operations and resolve issues before they become problems
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Provide clear, consistent updates to leadership and project stakeholders
- Use modern project management tools to drive efficiency and accountability
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects
- Strong background in underground utilities, roadway/highway work, bridges, structures, and DOT projects
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and multiple work streams
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost management
- Comfortable making decisions in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
- Proficiency with project management software and construction technology
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and doing the job
