About the role
Join a Growing Cable Recovery Team. We are currently recruiting experienced 2-man cable recovery gangs to support ongoing heavy cable recovery works across South Wales and Bristol, operating within a 50-mile radius of Cardiff.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the safe recovery and removal of heavy cable infrastructure across a variety of sites. The work will involve:
- Heavy cable recovery and removal
- Working safely in line with site and client requirements
- Completing daily work records and tonnage reporting
- Maintaining productivity and quality standards
- Travelling to sites within a 50-mile radius of Cardiff
Requirements
Established 2-man gang with:
- Previous cable recovery, civils, utilities or telecoms experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence with at least 2 years no bans within 2 years
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated
- Ability to work efficiently to achieve tonnage targets
Pay
Rate: £600 per tonne recovered. Target: 4 tonnes per week. Current gangs are averaging 3.6 tonnes per week, with excellent earning potential for high-performing teams.
Work Location
South Wales & Bristol region, with sites located within a 50-mile radius of Cardiff.
