Heating Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic (RTP)
Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services (EGS) is seeking Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanics to provide Facilities Operations Maintenance and support Services to a Government Agency in Research Triangle Park, NC. This position is covered by the CBA for Industrial, Technical and Professional Employees Union, OPEIU Local 4873.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs HVAC Service work on large HVAC systems in commercial facilities.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems.
- Supports facility help desk operations, environmental compliance, safety and security systems.
- Provides on-demand construction and repair services to ensure uninterrupted facility performance and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with large HVAC systems in commercial facilities.
- A State of North Carolina HVAC Heating Group 2 license or state of North Carolina HVAC Heating Group 3 Class 1 license.
