Your Role
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs
- Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely
- Complete appropriate daily paperwork for each service call
- Maintain daily and yearly inventory
- Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable
- Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity
- Rotational on-call evenings and weekends
Skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Good organization and communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong customer service
- Frequent driving, climbing in and out of vehicle working in confined spaces, heavy lifting and ability to work at heights ranging up to 50 ft
- Ability to install various types of heating equipment
- Strong decision-making skills
Your Experience
- A valid Propane or natural gas license
- Nora Certification is an asset
- Knowledge of wiring and plumbing is required
- Heating technician experience considered an asset
