Heathers Manor - Director of Nursing

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Nursing to join our team at Heathers Manor, a Transforming Age community in Crystal, MN. This position is ideal for someone who is committed to clinical excellence and enjoys mentoring and developing nursing teams in a senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Initiates the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern the Nursing Services in collaboration with appropriate services.
• Participates in SNF planning, decision making, and policy formulation at management meetings.
• Maintains regulatory requirements.
• Engages and supports our programs (which may include Assisted Living, Memory Care, and/or other departments).
• Plans, develops, implements, and controls the annual budget for the nursing personnel.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the geriatric resident and short-term stay/rehabilitation programs.
• Evaluates nursing staff ability to assess and care for residents.
• Captures and updates the Minimum Data Sets and Care Plans.
• Coordinates and directs resident care and education by monitoring care plans and coaching nursing staff to improve the quality of care rendered.
• Oversees the assessment of all residents.
• Supports the Transforming Age Culture of Excellence in all areas of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Licensed RN in good standing.
• For California positions, Current BCLS certification and Certifications.
• College degree in related field or significant experience preferred.
• Three years minimum supervisory and administrative experience, inclusive of budgeting and program development.
• Two years or more working with senior adults.
• Gerontology nursing experience preferred.

Pay

The salary for this role is $90,000 to $102,000 DOE.
