About the role
We are seeking a Director of Nursing to join our team at Heathers Manor, a Transforming Age community in Crystal, MN. This position is ideal for someone who is committed to clinical excellence and enjoys mentoring and developing nursing teams in a senior living setting.
Responsibilities
- Initiates the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern the Nursing Services in collaboration with appropriate services.
- Participates in SNF planning, decision making, and policy formulation at management meetings.
- Maintains regulatory requirements.
- Engages and supports our programs (which may include Assisted Living, Memory Care, and/or other departments).
- Plans, develops, implements, and controls the annual budget for the nursing personnel.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the geriatric resident and short-term stay/rehabilitation programs.
- Evaluates nursing staff ability to assess and care for residents.
- Captures and updates the Minimum Data Sets and Care Plans.
- Coordinates and directs resident care and education by monitoring care plans and coaching nursing staff to improve the quality of care rendered.
- Oversees the assessment of all residents.
- Supports the Transforming Age Culture of Excellence in all areas of responsibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensed RN in good standing.
- For California positions, Current BCLS certification and Certifications.
- College degree in related field or significant experience preferred.
- Three years minimum supervisory and administrative experience, inclusive of budgeting and program development.
- Two years or more working with senior adults.
- Gerontology nursing experience preferred.

Pay
The salary for this role is $90,000 to $102,000 DOE.
