Heat Welder

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing duties such as forming and flashing tight corners with non-reinforced PVC
• Flashing pipe penetrations without pitch pockets
• Knowing the difference between flashing and field sheets of PVC
• Vast knowledge with a heat welder
• Experience with a walk behind welder
• Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds
• Assisting other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.) in their performance
• Using hand tools and small power tools
• Performing other relevant duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• This position requires a minimum education level of High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience is required
• The employee is required to have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

• Loud and frequent noises
• Standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day
• Indoor/outdoor settings
• Areas close to traffic
