Heat Transfer/Secondary Flow Engineer (All Experience Levels)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Perform thermal heat transfer and secondary flow analyses in a complete and timely manner.
  • Prepare analytical reports consistent with Agilis Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • Maintain proficiency with Agilis and customer required analysis tools through training and use.
  • Integrate work with Design, Structures, and Aero & Performance teams.
  • Work collaboratively on teams, be a team player, and be dependable.
  • Participate in customer reviews and provide technical support.
  • Identify and resolve problems promptly, develop solutions, and contribute to group problem-solving.
  • Provide in-house support and mentoring, including assisting or instructing others.
• Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (e.g., mechanical and/or aerospace).
  • Thorough knowledge of advanced engineering methods, tools, and procedures.
  • Ability to perform analyses to verify the integrity of thermal and flow systems solutions.
  • Proficiency in collecting and researching data, using intuition and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance (if required).
• Physical Demands:
  • Able to sit for long periods.
  • Able to work at a computer desk or workstation.
  • Able to perform light physical duties such as lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
