Hearing and Vision Screeners - Various Locations

Brief Details of the Position

Blue Valley Schools provides hearing and vision screening for students according to state regulations. We need individuals who can administer the screening process for students within Blue Valley Schools at all levels, including elementary school, middle school, and high school. No prior experience as a hearing and vision screener is required; all training for the job is provided by the district.

• Screening sessions in a school typically last 2 to 4 hours, with some fluctuations based on the size of the student population to be screened.
• Screenings will take place three or four days per week (no Fridays).
• School nurses and a screening nurse will assist with the process.

Length of Assignment

The job will begin around the time school starts, and the screenings will be completed by January 2027 at the latest.

Rate of Pay

$17.76 per hour, hours per day 2-4 hours/day.
