About the role

Carepool is a transportation game-changer for people with disabilities. Our next-generation transportation software, developed in Madison, Wisconsin, works alongside the state's Medicaid programs. We deliver rides for rural and suburban areas, helping aging adults and people with disabilities access work, medical appointments, and social integration.

Responsibilities

• Drive for Carepool with a few consistent riders and routes using your own vehicle or a partner's van to earn $25-35/hr+
• Optionally drive a partner's wheelchair accessible vehicle to support hospitals with discharge rides, ensuring timely transportation for appointments or home visits

Requirements

• Own a suitable vehicle or have access to a partner's wheelchair accessible vehicle
• Be available to drive during weekdays and weekends
• Have a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Be able to transport individuals with disabilities safely and comfortably

Qualifications

• Experience driving individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Willingness to adapt to various routes and schedules
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and caregivers
