Healthcare Senior Consultant

About the role

Assist in financial accounting projects for a healthcare senior living practice, including budgeting, account reconciliation, board reporting, and financial analysis. Handle monthly financial statement closings, journal entries, and client communication. Reconcile sub-ledger systems with the general ledger and investigate discrepancies. Collect and analyze data for senior care projects using benchmark and client financial information. Develop operational and financial improvement recommendations for clients. Present findings through written reports and oral presentations to clients and third parties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience in financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and workpaper development.
• Proficiency with computerized accounting systems (general ledger, fixed assets, depreciation); experience with PointClickCare or Sage Intacct preferred.
• Payroll experience, including quarterly and annual payroll tax filings.
• Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% as needed.
