We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Southeast Region based Healthcare Sector Leader to join us at Buro Happold. You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our business, identifying and securing new strategic partnerships, specifically within the Healthcare sector, fostering Client and Collaborator relationships, and overseeing delivery of projects within this sector.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related field
  • Proven experience of 15+ years in business development and project delivery within the AEC industry
  • Track record of successfully supporting complex deals and achieving revenue targets
  • A Seller/Doer with strong business development, contributing to must-win proposal strategy
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of engineering industry dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and make strategic business decisions
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively present proposals, help negotiate deals, and build rapport with clients and stakeholders
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare sector clients and partners. A strong network within the AEC industry
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, identify growth opportunities, and develop innovative business development strategies. Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Results Orientation: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets. Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes
