About the role

This onsite position involves assisting patients in a hospital setting to maximize benefit coverage through interviews, application completion, and medical record review. You will collaborate with hospital staff and government agencies to expedite claim approvals, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with privacy standards. The role requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing updates and support to staff, and determining appropriate federal, state, or local programs based on medical information.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 18+ years old
• 1+ years customer service experience
• Experience working in an office or healthcare setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of health programs (preferred)
• Medical terminology (preferred)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred)
• EPIC experience (preferred)
