Role Overview
This onsite position involves working in a healthcare environment to assist patients with benefit coverage and benefit application processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview patients and collaborate with hospital staff to maximize benefit coverage
- Complete and review applications for state and federal programs
- Expedite benefit approval by reviewing medical records and maintaining communication with agencies
- Ensure compliance with privacy standards and document claim statuses
- Determine appropriate program applications based on medical and functional assessments
- Work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
Qualifications & Skills
- A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- At least 18 years old with 1+ years of customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Flexible to work full-time weekday hours and occasional weekends
- PREFERRED: knowledge of healthcare programs, medical terminology, bilingual skills, and EPIC experience

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in hospital facilities
