Healthcare Reimbursement Manager
Position Details
Prepare and oversee Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports in accordance with Federal and State regulations.
Provide analysis of various reimbursement projects which may include Medicare DSH, Medicaid DSH, Wage Index, Occupational Mix, IME, GME and Worksheet S-10 engagements.
Monitor engagement status and budget requirements for profitable and timely completion of assigned reimbursement projects.
Plan, develop strategies, and supervise Reimbursement Associates in all phases of cost report engagements.
Manage and collaborate with clients to develop strategic reimbursement plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Research regulatory issues that arise during engagements.
Identify opportunities and deliver recommendations to clients assist them with making strategic reimbursement decisions.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Healthcare Consulting, Reimbursement, or Cost Reporting.
- Strong mentoring, leadership, and training skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to oversee, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
