Latitude is seeking an attorney with healthcare regulatory experience for a remote contract engagement with one of its AmLaw 100 global law firm clients.

About the role

Applicants must have at least 3+ years of experience in healthcare frameworks, such as Medicaid, facility licensing and change of ownership, provider licensure and scope of practice, and the corporate practice of medicine. Ideal candidates will have excellent legal research and writing skills, as well as experience navigating sub-regulatory guidance, such as board opinions, FAQs, and other interpretive documents.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of healthcare regulatory experience
  • Experience with Medicaid, facility licensing and change of ownership, provider licensure and scope of practice, and the corporate practice of medicine
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills, as well as experience navigating sub-regulatory guidance such as board opinions, FAQs, and other interpretive documents
  • Prior experience working in a full-service law firm or sophisticated boutique firm is preferred
  • Outstanding references

Schedule

  • Type of role: Contract Engagement

Pay

The annualized compensation for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference.
