Healthcare Quality & Compliance Specialist

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain internal compliance systems and documentation across regulatory areas (HRSA, HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, FTCA, UDS)
  • Track and analyze quality metrics and performance data using internal systems
  • Support audits, site visits, and accreditation by ensuring documentation is audit-ready
  • Monitor and document incidents, risks, and patient complaints
  • Identify care gaps using EHR and reporting systems and support corrective actions
  • Coordinate and track staff compliance training (HIPAA, safety, infection control, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and system efficiency
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership using system-generated data
  • Work regularly with key healthcare performance measures, including: Experience with UDS (Uniform Data System) Measures, HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) and Internal KPIs

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience working with healthcare systems, compliance tracking, or quality reporting

Systems Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR), EPIC or similar systems preferred
  • Ability to manage and improve internal tracking systems and workflows
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel proficiency required)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
