About the role

The Healthcare Network Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in expanding Odyssey House's reach by building and maintaining relationships with various healthcare and human service providers. This position involves developing and managing linkage agreements, coordinating the work of peer specialists, and implementing marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops linkage agreements with new business partners.
  • Maintains current linkage agreements with existing business partners, reviewing and updating annually.
  • Maintains a weekly schedule of in-person meetings, remote meetings, and check-in calls with all new and existing business partners.
  • Monitor referral volume and admissions conversion rates for each business partner.
  • Works with the Director of Clinical Data Management to develop data reports that inform outreach and engagement strategies.
  • Works with the supervisor and Deputy Director of Admissions to identify workflow challenges and problem-solve with all business partners.
  • Works with the supervisor and Deputy Director of Admissions to establish performance benchmarks related to engagement of new business partners, number of referrals, and number of program admissions.
  • Works with the supervisor and Communications Manager to develop print and digital marketing materials and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Participates in rotating on-call coverage plan.
  • Prepares monthly reports as requested by supervisor.
  • Affirms that all outreach staff members are adequately trained.
  • Provides direct supervision for designated staff as per Odyssey House policies.
  • Prepares written annual evaluations on staff under his/her supervision.
  • Participates in daily clinical and administrative meetings with staff as designated.
  • Provides ongoing training for program staff and participates in Odyssey House in-service trainings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or healthcare administration with one year of experience, or associate’s degree in marketing in a healthcare or human services setting preferred.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Familiarity with NYC metropolitan-area behavioral healthcare provider networks required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings required.
  • Proven success with platform and presentation skills required.
  • Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g. LMSW, LMHC, CASAC etc.) preferred.
  • Bi-lingual with Spanish language fluency preferred.
