About the role
As a Healthcare Operations Manager (Facility Administrator) at DaVita, you’ll be part of a team that values work-life balance and prioritizes your personal and professional growth. You will directly impact patient care as the trusted front-line leader in an outpatient clinic setting. Health care experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with patients while improving their health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead, develop, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional clinical team (census dependent on state laws) to deliver the best outcomes for patients, teammates, and the community.
- Manage the complete operation and performance of the clinic, including budget adherence, expense forecasting, vendor relationships, supply ordering, and compliance monitoring.
- Exercise autonomy in running the clinic with support and guidance from your director, regional peers, and the broader company.
- Foster a culture aligned with DaVita’s values, rewarding behaviors that reflect these shared beliefs.
- Partner with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns, driving alignment with regional goals and standards.
- Collaborate daily with clinical and financial teams to produce results that meet business needs.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree preferred, unless required by state or local laws; Bachelor’s degree in a related area strongly preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in management (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience (e.g., nurse, dietitian, social worker, LPN) at the discretion of the Divisional Vice President and/or Regional Operations Director.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse if required by the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification required (or must be obtained within 60 days of hire or change in position).
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Other qualifications and combinations of skills may be considered at the discretion of the Regional Operations Director and/or Divisional Vice President.
