About the Role

As a Healthcare Operations Manager (Facility Administrator) at DaVita, you’ll be part of a team that values work-life balance and prioritizes your personal and professional growth. You will directly impact patient care as the trusted front-line leader in an outpatient clinic setting. Healthcare experience is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with patients while improving their health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, develop, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional clinical team (census dependent on state laws) to deliver the best for patients, teammates, and the community.
  • Manage the complete operation and performance of the clinic, including budget adherence, expense forecasting, vendor relationships, supply ordering, and compliance monitoring.
  • Oversee financial management, ensuring the clinic operates within budget and meets performance goals.
  • Operate with autonomy while receiving support and guidance from your director, regional peers, and the broader company.
  • Foster a positive team environment where collaboration and mutual support are prioritized.
  • Partner with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns, aligning with regional goals and standards.
  • Demonstrate and reinforce DaVita’s values in daily operations and team interactions.
  • Utilize intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred, unless required by state or local laws; Bachelor’s degree in a related area strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in management (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience (e.g., nurse, dietitian, social worker, LPN) at the discretion of the Divisional Vice President and/or Regional Operations Director.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse if required by the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification required (or must be obtained within 60 days of hire or change in position).
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with clinical and financial teams on a daily basis.

Other qualifications and combinations of skills may be considered at the discretion of the Regional Operations Director and/or Divisional Vice President.
