Healthcare M&A Analyst

About the role

An Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare Investment Banking team supports M&A, joint ventures, and capital raising transactions for health systems and healthcare companies. The role offers mentorship, direct client engagement, and broad exposure to healthcare transactions, fostering learning, responsibility, and growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Responsibilities

• Building financial models and valuation analyses
• Preparing transaction materials (CIMs, presentations)
• Supporting all transaction phases
• Managing data rooms
• Conducting industry research
• Assisting with client presentations
• Engaging in market outreach
• Gaining exposure to live deals and client interactions, working closely with senior bankers and executives

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in investment banking, healthcare consulting, or related finance
• A bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or similar field is required

Skills

• Strong financial modeling, accounting, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
• Familiarity with AI tools and data platforms (a plus)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proactive attitude
• Adaptable, able to work independently and collaboratively across a distributed team
• Willing to work extended hours
